Potatoes mashed with butter, sour cream, milk, salt, and pepper. Shredded cheddar cheese mixed in for the tradional flavor.
A family recipe of sauerkraut sauteed in olive oil, then simmered for hours with garlic and onion flavor until it is perfect. Eat this with your favorite kielbasa and you'll be ejoying a delicious Polish dinner. These are currently made on a limited basis by hand for us to bring to farmers markets and bazaars that we occasionally go to and a special appearance in some of the stores that carry our pierogies.
A traditional Polish farmers cheese is mixed with a blend of other cheeses for a creamy, smooth and mild taste. This is good enough to eat by itself or with any main course.
